Timeline
An interactive, minimal record of how the Academy was shaped by fieldwork and student feedback.
2018 — Field notebooks to online notes
We began publishing open field notes so new hunters could avoid early mistakes. The focus was simple: repeatable site-reading routines, consistent recovery habits, and respectful ground handling.
- Standardized logging: soil, signals, recovery depth, and outcome.
- Early “mistake library” to shorten the learning curve.
2020 — First cohort launch
Our first structured cohort refined drills and introduced ethics modules. Students validated what worked under pressure: when time is limited and signals are noisy.
- Permission workflow templates and documentation standards.
- Skill ladders for recovery, grid discipline, and target ID.
2024 — ExploreVox Treasure Academy
We now serve global students with modular tracks and lifetime updates. The Academy is built to be clear, high-contrast, and usable in the field on mobile devices.
- Modular tracks: metal detecting, gold panning, underwater basics.
- Iteration loop: student logs → drill updates → clearer outcomes.
